A walking taco casserole is an even simpler way to prepare taco night!
Ingredients
Directions
Turn the temperature in the oven up to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Brown the ground beef in a large pan made of nonstick material over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a wooden spoon as it cooks. After the steak is done cooking all the way through, if there is any excess fat, drain it.
Place the meat back into the pan, then pour in the taco seasoning, salsa, and water. Stir to combine. Bring to a simmer, then reduce the heat and cook for another 5 minutes with the lid off. Mix it up every so often.
Whisk in the cream cheese until it is completely incorporated and smooth. Place the meat mixture in a baking dish that measures 11 by 7 inches. After placing the Fritos on top, sprinkle the top with the shredded cheese and return to the oven for five to ten minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling. As soon as possible, serve with any toppings you choose.
Enjoy!!!
