Crusty and beautifully colored on the outside, buttery soft and chewy on the inside, with a tiny bit of butter – it’s one of my favorite breakfast foods.




Add the water to the bowl with the flour. Add the oil, yeast and salt. Mix very well until you get a ball.


Grease a bowl, place the ball of dough in the bowl, cover with cling film, and let it rest for 2 hours. Massage the dough, divide it into 3 pieces and form 3 baguettes. Place on a baking sheet, cover with a kitchen cloth and let stand for 20 minutes.


Make 3 slices in each baguette, splash some water over, and sprinkle flour on each one. Bake for 30 minutes at 200º C (392ºF)
