Delicious Baklava Recipe




In a bowl add all purpose flour and butter then mix well the add 1 cup milk and knead it very well then wrap the bowl with plastic wrapper and keep aside for 1 hour


Take any dry fruits u like then grind them You can also chop or cut into small pieces


Then Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead by hand, oiling hands if needed, until the dough is soft, malleable, and smooth, about 10 minutes. Divide the dough into 18 to 20 equal pieces and roll each piece out to a roughly oval shape, Use the rolling pin to gently roll out the dough to paper-thin thickness like tortilla or round shape homemade phyllo sheet is ready


Then brush a square pan with oil or butter Now take a one sheet of phyllo and fold it to fit the inside of the pan then add the dry fruits from earlier Repeat it same step with other sheet of phyllo for 4-5 times then Cut it into slices with a thin and sharp knife.


In a small bowl add milk powder and melted butter and mix then spread it on top of baklava Then bake for 30-35 minutes on 180° or according to your oven


While it baking add sugar and water in a saucepan and cook for 10 minutes or until it thickens pour it on baklava When its baked.
