Tteokbokki is a popular street snack in Korea. With <b>a spicy, sweet flavor</b> and a chewy texture it is an instant favorite

Step 1

In a bowl add rice flour and hot water mix it with a spoon to absorb the water then knead it with hands after the dough is smooth Roll the rice cake into 1 – 1.5 cm /0.4 – 0.6 inch diameter cylinder shaped rice cake and cut both ends. Cut the main part of the rice cake into 5 cm/3 inch long pieces (about little finger size). Now you have the rice cake ready to use in Tteokbokki or other stir fry dishes.

Step 2

Then add rice cakes in boiling water and boil it for 10-15 minutes for Medium heat after the rice cake is cooked pour them in cold water

Step 3

Then in a bowl add 200ml Water, 5g Brown sugar,- 40g Gochujang chili paste, 10g chilli garlic sauce after adding all ingredients mix well and when the mixture boils add rice cakes next add onions and fish or any meat u prefer mix slightly and cook for 5 minutes on medium low heat. let everything cook and absorb after 5 minutes add boiled egg and green onions then cook for 2 minutes again
