This dessert is a classic favorite for many, and once you try it, you’ll understand why.




Crack 4 eggs into a mixing bowl and add a pinch of salt along with 1 cup & 3 tablespoons (250g) of sugar. Beat the mixture until it reaches a fluffy consistency.


In a separate bowl, mix together 2 & 3/4 cups (350g) of flour and 2 teaspoons of baking powder until well combined. Add half of this mixture to the egg mixture and whisk until thoroughly combined.


In a saucepan, heat 1 cup of milk along with 1/3 cup of butter and 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar. Stir continuously until the butter melts completely. lowly add the heated milk mixture to the batter while whisking continuously. Gradually incorporate the remaining flour mixture until the batter is smooth and well combined.


Set your oven to 400 degrees F to preheat. Pour the prepared batter into a parchment paper-lined baking pan. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the pie is golden brown and set.


Once baked, remove the pie from the oven and sprinkle some powdered sugar on top for an extra touch of sweetness. Slice the pie and serve warm for the best experience.
