Make your own homemade  milk powder barfi recipe. A simple and easy barfi recipe prepared with basic ingredients. You will never need to go to the sweet shop again!




In a saucepan add the clarified butter and sugar, on low flame caramelized it on low flame for 5-6 mins. add water. Keep on stirring and don't burn it. when the caramel is formed slowly add the milk and stir until well dissolved. Crystal will formed make sure to mix well so no crystal is left. Set it aside


In another pan, add the clarified butter, flour and milk powder. Fry it on low medium flame for 6 mins. Add the mixture from before. Keep on stirring until the mixture becomes sticky and like a dough.


When the dough is formed add the clarified butter. Turn off the stove and let it cool down then by using the hand smooth it out. Take a greased pan and sprinkle crushed nuts place the burfi inside the pan. Refrigerate for an hour .


With the knife use it cut the edges so its easier for it come out. place the pan upside down, pat the pan and the burfi will come out. Cut it into pieces
