This one recipe three cupcake flavors is a great way to add more options and choices of flavors with just one basic recipe. A quick, easy and effortless recipe with no special equipment necessary.

Step 1

In a bowl Add butter and sugar and beat it until its fluffy Add eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition then add baking powder, vanilla essence/powder and mix then add all purpose flour in portion at a time while mixing it with a beater then 1/2 cup milk and mix well

Step 2

Split this batter into three similar bowls approximately. In first batter add 1 tbsp of cocoa powder and mix in 2nd bowl add 1/2 tbsp of cocoa powder and food coloring then mix we wont add anything to 3rd bowl cuz it is vanilla flavor

Step 3

Divide the batter evenly into a 12-count lined muffin or cupcake pan. Then bake for 20- 25 on 180° or according to your oven or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean

Step 4

Let them cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and cool to room temperature before frosting.

Step 5
